30 Event Feedback Survey Questions for Corporate Organisers

Good post-event feedback helps you plan the next one better. These thirty questions cover six areas of a corporate event. You do not need all of them: a short survey of five to eight questions gets more responses than a long one. Pick the questions most relevant to what you want to improve.

How to use these questions

Pick questions from each section that match what you want to learn. For a short survey, start with five to eight questions that match the decisions you need to make. This is an editorial suggestion, not a completion-rate claim. Include at least one open-ended question for feedback you did not anticipate.

Copy the questions into your own survey tool. No data-collection form or backend is provided here. Adapt the phrasing and answer options to your organisation's style.

Response rates depend on distribution timing, method and audience size. Choose a distribution date while participants can still recall the event; adapt reminders to your organisation’s process. A small sample gives directional feedback, not statistically representative conclusions.

Suggested short selection

If you need a quick survey of five to eight questions, this selection covers the essentials:

  • Q1: Overall organisation rating
  • Q8: Favourite programme segment
  • Q16: Food selection rating
  • Q21: Favourite activity station
  • Q26: Overall satisfaction
  • Q28: One thing to change
  • Q29: One thing to keep

Add Q23 (children's activities) if families attended, or Q14 (accessibility) if inclusion is a priority for this event. Adjust the selection based on what you want to learn.

What to do with the results

Summarise the ratings and group the open-text responses by theme. Share the findings with your planning team before the next event. Use the budget template (budget guide) and proposal template (proposal guide) to build the case for changes based on actual feedback.

Frequently asked questions

Choose a date while attendees can still recall the event, and use your organisation’s normal survey and reminder process. Timing alone does not guarantee replies; the audience, channel and questions also matter.

Five to eight is a practical starting suggestion for a short survey. Select questions around the decisions you want to make and remove irrelevant ones. No completion-rate improvement is promised.

The logistics, venue, food and overall sections are broadly applicable. Replace corporate-specific language such as departments and HR with school or community equivalents. The question structure and answer formats work for any organised event.
